PROJECT: Cabals – The Board Game

Cabals - The Board Game

Cabals: The Board Game, an Expandable Card Game (XCG) from Finland’s Kyy Games is an adaption of the studio’s ground-breaking mobile title Cabals: The Card Game to a tabletop board game, now on Kickstarter in a US$25,000 campaign to complete production of the game.

The developer says:

“It’s common to see game developers adapting non-digital games to PCs, consoles and mobile devices. Many well-known card and board games are available now in digital form. But how about taking a digital game and making it into a tabletop game?

That’s exactly what Finland’s Kyy Games are doing with Cabals: The Board Game, an Expandable Card Game (XCG) – taking strengths of their ground-breaking mobile title Cabals: The Card Game and expanding them into social and even more in-depth experiences as a tabletop board game.

Cabals: The Board Game features include a multiplayer mode that can be played with three or four players (in addition to the usual two player head-to- head), and customised battlegrounds – bringing new tactics, game modes and enjoyment to the Cabals community.”

About Kyy Games
Kyy Games is based in Tampere, Finland. The studio is also known for their popular titles Knights of Pen & Paper 2 and Trulon: The Shadow Engine.
